Our Programs
We believe in inclusive learning environments and in the benefit of multi-age groups. We have staff who have received training in individualized planning, creating objectives by skills in the classroom, which allows us to meet the needs of the different skill groups in the class.
The multi-age classroom allows an important social development in coexistence with classmates of different ages.

Groups
Class placement will be determined not only considering age but also social, communication, academic, autonomy and independence skills.
Toddlers-Preschool
Our Toddler-Preschool program uses the Playing Preschool curriculum with Montessori principles to foster independence, motor skills, emotional communication, and an early foundation in English. Through play and thematic units, children explore language and develop essential social and academic skills.
Pre K - Kindergarten
In Pre-K and Kindergarten, we introduce reading and writing through the Orton-Gillingham approach, supported by Learning Without Tears and the Sonlight curriculum. This approach builds vocabulary, language skills, and a love of learning through play-based science projects and activities that reinforce key academic concepts. For math, we use the Math U See program, which focuses on hands-on learning with manipulatives to help students understand mathematical concepts.
1st-3rd grade, Lower Elementary
For Lower Elementary, we continue using Orton-Gillingham, Learning Without Tears, and Sonlight for reading, writing, and literature. Students deepen their understanding of language and math, and we also integrate the Ministry of Public Education of Costa Rica curriculum for Spanish and social studies. Math U See continues to be used for hands-on math learning, helping students build a solid mathematical foundation.
4th-5th grade, Upper Elementary
Upper Elementary continues with a more advanced approach, using Orton-Gillingham, Learning Without Tears, and Sonlight to develop higher-level skills in English reading, writing, and literature. The Ministry of Public Education of Costa Rica curriculum is also applied to teach Spanish and Social Studies. For math, Math U See remains the primary program, with a hands-on learning approach that continues to support deeper understanding of mathematical concepts through manipulatives and practical applications.
